Founded in 1977 in Charlotte, N.C., Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits® serves only the highest quality and most flavorful food to its loyal customers. The restaurant’s core menu features hand-breaded chicken; fresh, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits; and Legendary Iced Tea® steeped the old-fashioned way. Bojangles’® also features unique fixin’s such as Dirty Rice, Cajun Pintos and Seasoned Fries. First franchised in 1978, Bojangles'® now has over 625 locations.

The Challenge

Bojangles’ was ingrained with an underperforming print and fulfillment company with an outdated web ordering portal. Bojangles’ was apprehensive in making a vendor change that would disrupt their promotional schedule and the overall execution of their marketing materials. Based on their experience, Bojangles’ understood making a vendor change was complex and aligning themselves with a new vendor that had experience in transitioning business was paramount.

The Solution

After a complete analysis of All Points, Bojangles’ was ready to make the move. After several discovery meetings, All Points outlined the clients short and long range goals. The All Points transition team created a detailed onboarding plan that included key tasks, dates, and stakeholders. The transition plan would be the framework for staying on task and achieving a smooth transition. The plan included all phases including the physical move of the inventory, the transfer of the digital assets, billing and invoicing, fulfillment and warehousing, customer service, and the web portal creation and rollout. The web portal rollout included a tailored site that was skinned and configured for Bojangles’. Once the site was completed- a beta test was performed with a select set of users. After a successful beta test, the web portal was released system wide with several training sessions for all users.

The Results

Bojangles’ viewed the complete transition to All Points as an absolute success. Due to extensive planning and proven onboarding methodology, there was little to no disruption in their business. The transition to All Points from start to finish was approximately 60 days. On schedule, All Points produced and shipped Bojangles’ monthly promotional materials with zero defects and errors. On the go-live date, All Points picked and packed nearly 50 daily orders that shipped the same day. The web portal provided a full suite of functionality that was intuitive for company and franchise users that created a one stop shopping experience for their marketing needs.
